Interesting idea. I think it would definitely be a cool effect, and would accurately convey the brightness of an exceptionally bright day - which you sometimes want to record!

Jason, we've considered what home schooling might look like for our daughter in years to come, especially getting closer to middle school age. Do you know parents that home school children with Autism or Aspergers? Our daughter has high functioning Autism, is smart as a whip, but it socially behind her peers, so there are pluses and minuses to home schooling (or so I think).

Jason, excellent move! Funny thing is that I've been toying with the idea of joining one of the local Toastmasters orgs in my area this year too. Yet, there is something in me that doesn't want to. Your post gives me the motivation to do it. Thanks for sharing.

This is great! Way to go! That's great to hear that you put yourself out there and now you're on the other side, better off.

Will you write about this and guest post for us in one of our IDC posts? How about next week? You can even use what you have written here if you want. I think it's great!

The frame was something that I could see putting a slide-show into. After thinking about it some more, it would be hard to make it a watermark that could be put into the corner of pictures. I like the style that you re-did with the hands on the bottom. Easy enough to re-do. :)

Hmm. I wonder if you could reposition the hands around the portrait frame so that it would look like someone was holding the picture in front of himself. That would mean moving the hand on the left down to the bottom corner, so that it mirrors the hand on the right. Then have the words "In His Image" inside the frame, and then have the word "Portraits" underneath the frame. I like the image that you've chosen, but I really like the frame.

Hmm... how about going off of the first one? No hands, but use the picture frame. Then "In His Image" in the frame, going diagonally down...

Right now I'm focusing on People, with the intent on creating more Stock images for a long-term stable income while I work on changing the world. :)

I'm still working on my "portrait" website, planning to put that up in February. (will be www.inhisimageportraits.com when ready)

Congratulations Jason! You are surrounding yourself with some awesome people in FAA. One year from today you will be able to look back and remember how you felt making this decision and smile that you moved forward anyway. Photography is such an exciting field! I think that the bottom is best also. In a way, I think it also adds the element of flowers leaning "into" the picture. (Sort-of like always having a face looking "into" the frame and not out of it...
